Finally, Some New Wheels
Rick got a new car today… it’s not brand new. But it is new to us. He got a Jeep. It looks pretty good. It needs a little TLC but overall it looks like a great buy! He’s needed a car BADLY for almost 2 years now. The Monte Carlo he’s been driving for the last 6 years has 225,000 miles on it and is falling apart, lol. The front passenger wheel has fallen off on 2 occasions… but when he was driving down the road too!! He’s rigged, tapes and held together with dirt in every way you can possibly imagine. It overheats after medium length drives so then you can”t get it to start up again for hours on end. Several times Rick I were stranded here in town at the shopping mall or a restaurant because it didn’t want to start and we had to sit around and kill time till it cooled down. The problems with this car go on and on. lol!!
Soooo he really needed this car, lol.
I can see the fun we”ll be having this summer working on it and making it pretty. Ok so… Rick will do 98% of the work… but I’ll do all of the “Ohhh” and “Ahhhh” And occasionally I’ll hold something in place for him, lol So I help a little bit, hehe.
Ohh and did I mention this is a manual transmission? and I haven’t driven a stick in … ummm… 15 years?! LOL!! Dani wants to learn how to drive it too. This is gonna be fun!
