New job at the Old Job
Ok so… I have a new job… but it’s a new job inside of my old job, lol. Last week I got my official notice that I was being promoted. I knew back in December I was going to be receiving a promotion, but I didn’t know for what. At least not for sure. There were two position available. both positions were in management, but one was an assistant at the store I’ve bee working in for “almost” 2 years and one was a full management spot, but as a floater.
I was excited… to be considered good enough for a promotion and to be respected enough as a good employee to be offered a promotion was awesome!! Obviously I was secretly hoping for the full management spot. Not that I would be unhappy as my store assistant. It’s just that I really wanted the other spot more. But I was going to take whichever one I was offered. And on the chance they offered me both I was going to let them know which one I wanted.
I was really lucky and I got the one I wanted. I”ve been training for a week now and I’m really feeling good about everything I am learning.
So excited!!
