So Sweet…

Drew’s teacher made this video. She personalized one for each of her students. It is the sweetest gift and such a great idea. Of course it made me cry as well. My baby is growing up… he’s going to 1st grade in what?.. 3 months?? I think this is making me hyperventilate. I am so so sooooo excited for what is yet to come. 1st Grade…Cub Scouts… and oh so much more! But it is bittersweet because that means he’s growing up and he’s not a baby anymore.

We Will, We Will Rock You!

My granddaughter, Victoria is spending the night here and I have had a lot of fun with her this evening. She’s been so much fun to play with I am happy she is here.

While playing tonight she kept bringing out this one truck drew has. This truck plays Queen’s song “We Will Rock You” and each time the song comes on she trys to mock it/sing it. But no sound come out of her mouth.. and she does an “I don’t know” sort of thing with her hands, lol. It is so funny… and it kept me amused for… umm…. 30+ minutes, lol. I Never Get Enough

…Of watching my girls doing DDR. I am in awe at their dancing abilities. They’re so in sync. It’s just so cool to watch them.

One Thing I Love…

… I love the unpredictability of my disorder. I know that is bizarre and to many won’t make any sense at all…but honestly It’s more often a good thing rather then a bad thing. At least for me, lol. I have always been a relaxed laid back kind of person. So my disorder doesn’t impact me as badly when I roll with the changes and just accept me for who I am. I have limitations… whether I like it or not. Some look at me and say that because many of those limitation are emotional or mental that they are not the same as a physical limitation. But that is very wrong. My limitations might as well be something like not being able to walk… or talk.. or hear because the effect and ability to function, or should I say inability to function, is the same. Both forms of limits are just as detrimental and frustrating as the other. When I accept that; my life runs much smoother then when I fight it. Along with that also comes insane moods swings. But there again this does not always mean it’s a bad thing either. The mood swings can give me good things like…crazy flair ups of hysterical giggles (very often are at normal every day things.. and sometimes are for “nothing at all” really).. and the ability to laugh at… well a lot, including myself! Don’t get me wrong there is plenty of “life” that hits and causes me to be upset and stressed. I am not perfect by a long shot. But the unpredictability of it all is usually what some of the best moments with my kids are born from. Nikki having the same disorder sometimes makes life in this house incredibly difficult for both her and I as well as the 4 other people who live with us and have to deal with us on a daily basis.

Tonight both Nikki and I hit a high moment. We get these rather often.. and have gotten them at the worst times too. It’s hard to contain yourself at work or at school. But tonight was pure, untainted fun! I mean stupid, goof ball…I am 8 again… type of fun. I really enjoy this type of laughing with my kids. It’s a tension reliever. I took some video’s of Nikki and Dani during our laughing spree. 5 of them actually. I thought I’d share them with all of you. Our Gun Control Methods

Ok so we’re a bit warped. My husband and my son both love Halo, Fear, Quake..and the rest of those types of games. This is sort of our version of bringing the game to life. I find this completely hysterical. I love when my boys are goofy. This is one way that we have fun in this house, lololol (The gun is only an pellet air riffle and no it is not loaded. And for the record…My husband would never point a real weapon (loaded or unloaded) at one of his children. At me?? maybe…lol… but never at the kids, hehe.)

Christmas Photos Uploaded.

I have uploaded a bunch of pictures.

1. Pictures from the Saturday before Christmas (12-22-07) Paul, Lynn and Kelcey visited. We exchanged gifts, made cookies, and had a great day together. Making cookies was a lot of fun. The kids really had a great time with it. And even dinner was good…in spite of the fact that I over cooked the meatloaf. My first time ever of semi-burning a meal, lol Just goes to show you how scattered I am these days. But It wasn’t completely ruined and I managed to save it, hehe.

2. Pictures from Christmas. All the kids LOVED their gifts. It was a good day filled with my special moments I will cherish forever.

3. My DDR queens. I have some pictures of the kids and me playing DDR and Guitar Hero.
